Branding

This document contains our brand logos and assets, as well as the guidelines for use. All rights reserved.

Branding Use Guidelines

Our branding use guidelines apply to all uses of the Inventor name and brand assets. Please follow these guidelines as closely as possible.

Please do not modify our logo in any way and ensure that spacing/padding matching the original logo assets is always provided.

We explicitly ask that you do not:

  • Replace the ’lightning bolt’ with another icon
  • Add additional text to the logo, including creating a wordmark from the provided logo
  • Adjust the padding, proportions, or spacing of the logo in any way
  • Recolor the logo, including changes to the background or foreground colors
  • Distort, crop, adjust, or otherwise alter the Inventor logo in any way
  • Use the variation logos (from the docs/forum/etc sites) to represent Inventor’s brand
    • This includes when referencing the docs or forum site directly
    • We ask that you avoid using variants as it can cause confusion around Inventor’s brand
  • Create or use animated variants of the Inventor logo

Modified variants of the Inventor logo can create confusion and lower the quality associated with the Inventor brand.

If you are creating a project, product, service, or work targeted for Inventor users or created with Inventor, please establish your own brand separate from that of Inventor.

You may use some parts of the Inventor brand (such as the primary color and/or font) in isolation with your own design. However, do not directly use/modify our branding assets for your project.

In addition, you are expected to make the lack of association between Inventor and your project clear.

Inventor’s branding assets are protected under U.S. and international copyright law.

If you have any questions about these guidelines, please get in touch and we’d be happy to provide specific guidance or approve/deny sample works. We will be more tolerant in our interpretation of our rules if you contact us prior to publishing. Contact with any questions or sample works.

Font

Inventor primarily uses the Inter font family.

Colors

Brand color: #fdbd24

Yellow shades: 300 #fde047 / 400 #facc15 / 500 #eab308 / 600 #ca8a04

Logo

Font Awesome icon bolt-lightning. Background is #fdbd24 and letter/icon is #020002. It is available in multiple shapes, although we primarily use the rounded square version.

Variations

Official variations of the Inventor logo, used for alternate Inventor services.

Per our branding guidelines, avoid recoloring the logo to create further variations. These variations should not be used by external companies or services.

Blue (Inventor Forums)

Used for the Forum favicon to differentiate it from the primary Inventor site in your tab list. Background color is #205CFB.

Light Blue (Inventor Docs)

Used for the Docs logo/favicon to differentiate it from Inventor and the forum. Background color is #20ADFB.

Pink (Staging/Pre-Production)

Used internally to indicate staging and pre-production environments. Background color is #E124FD.
